A book of the script for The Dark Knight, set so the typography does the acting. Each character gets their own typeface, chosen to match how they speak and who they are.
The Joker's lines come apart on the page: letters tilt, laughter scatters across the spread, words fall out of line. The straight characters stay in a steady serif. You can tell who's talking before you read a word.
