About

Thirteen years designing software — and building it.

I design product interfaces and build them. For seven years I led product design for BlueJeans' video conferencing apps across mobile and desktop, first from the agency side, until BlueJeans bought me out to lead the work in-house. I stayed through Verizon's acquisition, managed and mentored a team of designers, and built the release process the company adopted to ship on time without cutting research.

Since then I've worked independently, most recently with a health data startup, where I write the specs, design the interfaces, and ship the front end in code, so engineering starts from something that already works.

I'm drawn to hard design problems, the kind where the right answer isn't obvious until you've mapped the whole flow and tested it. I love working early, when design, engineering and the founders are figuring it out together, and I stay close to the numbers to validate designs and let the results do the talking.

AI product design

Designing how AI shows up in real products: assistant integrations, conversational flows, and the moments where people need to trust what the AI tells them. I prototype them in working code, and one of those prototypes helped close a signed partnership.
